The difference

Korean lash lift vs a classic lift.

Both work with your natural lashes. The Korean method changes where the lift begins and how the curl looks once it settles. Here is the honest difference, so you can choose with your eyes open.

The appointment

Your appointment, step by step.

1. A look at your lashes

Kellen checks the length, direction and condition of your lashes and talks through the finish you want. If a classic lift will suit you better, she will say so.

2. The lift

Your lashes are set from the root and lifted with Korean formulas, then set and nourished. Nothing is glued on and nothing is added to your own lashes.

3. Tint, if you want it

An optional tint darkens lashes from root to tip, so they read clearly without mascara. You leave with simple aftercare: keep them dry for the first day.

FAQ

Korean lash lift, answered.

A Korean lash lift is a lash lift built around Korean lifting technique and products. The curl starts right at the root, so your natural lashes look longer, lifted and separated, with a soft, open finish rather than a tight curl. Nothing is glued on and nothing is added. It is still your own lashes.

Both lift your natural lashes. The Korean method focuses on lifting from the very base of the lash, which tends to make lashes look longer and more defined from the lash line up, and it uses Korean formulas designed to be gentle on the lash. A classic lift often gives a rounder curl. Kellen offers both and will tell you which one suits your lashes.

It varies from client to client and depends on your natural lash cycle. Kellen will give you a personal estimate based on your lashes rather than a headline number.

Yes. A tint darkens the lashes from root to tip, so they read clearly without mascara. Ask Kellen when you book.

Often, yes. Because the lift starts at the root, it is a popular choice for straight or downward-pointing lashes. Very short or damaged lashes may need a different approach, and Kellen will be honest with you if that is the case.

Yes, after twenty-four hours. Keep lashes dry and avoid steam for the first day so the lift can set.
