Meet Kellen
Kellen Berkembrock opened Berkem Brows to do beauty work the way she always wanted to. Slowly. Personally. With proper time for the small details.

In her own words
Twenty-one years ago I started in beauty doing waxing. That was it. One service, every day, the kind of work where you learn skin, learn touch, learn how to make someone comfortable in five minutes flat.
Over the years I added more. Brows, then lashes, then cosmetic tattooing. Every new skill I picked up, I fell a little more in love with the work. Cosmetic tattoo is what really took hold. The detail, the patience it asks for, the way it changes how a woman sees herself in the mirror.
The studio is a small, quiet room in Coolangatta on the Gold Coast. I work alone, by appointment, one client at a time. My two kids are at home, and they are the reason I keep this all unhurried. I like daylight. I like being outside. I like long conversations with the people who end up in my chair. Half of why I do this work is the work itself. The other half is the people.
Berkem Brows is my surname stitched together with what I love. It started small. It still feels small in the best way. I'd love to have you in the chair.

Why "specialist" matters
Most beauty salons offer everything to everyone. Berkem Brows offers five things: brows, lashes, cosmetic tattoo, hair growth repair, and waxing. Kellen performs every one of them herself.
That's the difference. When the same hands shape, tint, and tattoo your brows over the course of a year, the work compounds. Each appointment builds on the last one. You don't reintroduce yourself to a new artist every six months. You become a face Kellen knows well.
On the tray
The studio is intentionally selective about the brands on the tray. Each one earned its place because it produces results that stay beautiful as they age.
